Design and Production
Armour of America designs each armor system to cover the most area with the least amount of panels. This design concept allows for the minimum amount of butt joints and the maximum amount of ballistic and fragmentation integrity.

Every kit offered by AoA, for military vehicles, has been designed at the vehicle. Great care is used to develop patterns which fit around pedals, seat tracks, door hinges and handles, and obstructions in cargo beds.

Installation Method
The floor panels are form fitted to ensure a “snug” fit around all obstructions. As such most panels do not require installation hardware. Each of the panels are identified with a part number and indications of what side of panel faces towards the threat.

The door armor panels are mounted to the exterior skin of the door using bolt and nut fastener to locate and mount the panel. The kit includes all hardware required to complete the installation and each panel has the holes drilled in location. The cargo bed liner (floor) kits have no attaching hardware. The panels weight and size is enough to hold the panel in place.

The troop seat back panels are attached to the truck using a combination of metal hooks to the truck while making the panels easy to remove and move to another truck if required.

Both the fuel tank and air bottle bottom armor panels are mounted to the truck using metal clip bolt/nut fastener system.

Every kit is packaged with a detailed set of instructions and diagram explaining step by step process to complete a successful installation.

AoA’s armor kits are designed for quick installation at the field level without excessive vehicle down time.

Repair Kits
Most hard armor panels, mounted to the exterior side of the door, can be repaired using AoA’s repair kit.
